Blended Course Policy
Medserv Blended Learning Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
- Purpose
This policy establishes the standards and procedures for all blended learning CPR and First Aid training programs delivered by Medserv Healthcare Solutions (“Medserv”). Medserv provides blended learning options through both the American Heart Association (AHA) and the Health & Safety Institute (HSI). Blended learning combines self-paced online instruction with an in-person, instructor-led skills session to ensure participants meet nationally recognized training and competency requirements.
- Overview of Blended Learning
Blended learning offers a flexible option for childcare centers, schools, corporate teams, and other organizations with scheduling challenges. Participants complete the online modules first, followed by an instructor-led skills evaluation. Successful completion of both the online portion and the in-person skills session is mandatory for certification.
