AHA Courses

The AHA (American Heart Organization) is the leader in resuscitation science, education, and training, and publisher of the official Guidelines for CPR and ECC. Medserv Healthcare is an Authorized Training Site for AHA and we conduct all courses offered by AHA. BLS, ACLS, Heartsaver, AHA Instructor Development.

WHAT WE OFFER

AHA Courses

Janet’s Law compliance requires that all public and private K-12 schools in New Jersey have an automatic external defibrillator (AED) on site. The law also requires that schools have an emergency plan in place and staff members who have received CPR/AED training.

Friends and Family CPR

This program teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only™ CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant.

HeartSaver® - CPR / First Aid, Pediatric CPR and First Aid.

The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

AHA Instructor Development

If you are passionate about saving lives, motivated to facilitate learning, feel comfortable in group settings, and find it easy to make complex concepts understandable to others, you may be a perfect candidate.

BLS is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, and in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
