Level Up Your Team's Life-Saving Skills
Through Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT), you’ll learn to recognize the signs of danger, react appropriately, and make rapid survival decisions. AVERT goes beyond active shooter response training by teaching how to control life-threatening bleeding.
AVERT gives you the tools to react in an emergency
When violence occurs, seconds count, and you can’t always wait for EMS to arrive. AVERT enables you to become an immediate responder by giving you the tools to prepare for potential violence and react quickly in life-threatening situations. After an AVERT training session, you and your team can
- Recognize warning signs using situational awareness
- Decide whether to Escape, Evade, or Attack
- Apply critical bleeding control techniques
- Respond quickly and confidently in an emergency
- Develop an Emergency Action Plan (EAP)
AVERT is for all types of organizations and industries
This is a 3-hour course that also includes active bleeding control in a difficult situation where EMS response is delayed!
Time Is Critical During Emergencies
Uncontrolled bleeding is a serious emergency. Blood loss due to trauma is a leading cause of preventable death in the United States. If care is delayed, even by a few minutes, uncontrolled bleeding can quickly become life-threatening.
When active violence occurs, time is critical to survival. Being able to react quickly and with confidence is vital to saving lives.
Prepare Your Team
Through a combination of online and dynamic in-person training, you will learn various response procedures, including escaping, evading, or attacking. After completing AVERT, you will also know how to perform emergency bleeding control as you wait for first responders to arrive.
